Role of club secretary
The role is much easier than previous years as majority of communications and actions now come via FA Whole game system. This is a prompt that something within the club needs action – such as a course is running out of date for a coach. Affiliation is also done via the system now rather than sending reams of paper. With everything up to date Affiliation takes no more than 15 mins twice a year. The club secretary is the main point of contact for FA and leagues – from our email account the information can be sent direct to appropriate coaches.
